march 15 shire feast
Salutations all!
It has been requested that we post directions for the March 15th St.
Patty's Day feast that Bestwode is holding. So here we go:
Take I-5 to Cottonwood (approximately 1-15 minutes south of Redding
and 20 minutes north of Red Bluff), get off on the Gas Point Road
exit. Go west on Gas Point... past the Holiday market shopping
center. First drive past the shopping center on the south (same)
side of the road. This is the Cottonwood Community Center. The
portion of the hall we rented includes a small kitchen, a 60 person
seated hall as well use of the bathrooms, chairs and tables. If no
one else rents the other rooms in the hall we are allowed to use
them too.
Tickets are $15 per person (children 12 and under free)in advance
and $17 at the door. We are asking that everyone pre-pay (that way
we ensure we have enough food and control of the numbers!!!) by
March 1st (tomorrow!!!). You can contact Ryssza@bestwode.org for
payment info or send checks directly to her at 12925 Susan Street,
Red Bluff, CA 96080.
Those members of the group that can, should gather at noon or so
(bringing crock pots and decorations) to help decorate the hall and
prepare for the outdoor activities that are scheduled to begin
around 1:30pm. The feast itself is scheduled to begin around 5:30
sca-time.
