  My name is Dafydd mac na Guibhne (aka David Belongie), I have been involved in the SCA since 1993 and am a founding member of Bestwodeshire. I am married to Morrighan Markaigh and our household device (seen upper right hand corner) is a white horse track on a red field.

My persona is Irish/Scottish in origin as a youngest son of a minor noble with no prospects and plenty of opportunity to travel Europe and Asia.

I am involved in the following SCA-related activities:
Blacksmithing- making knives, swords, and armor
Leather-working 
Bow and arrow making
Jewelry design and production
Recreation of ancient items, such as Celtic jewelry, a fine horse-head Viking bed and a beast head archery stand
Brewing mead
Drumming, piping and singing Irish pub songs
Equestrian arts including IKEQ games and mounted archery (see image gallery)
Heavy fighting 
Axe throwing 
Target archery
I am a authorized Target Archery Marshall, Equestrian Marshall, and Mounted Archery Marshall

Our encampment can be found by looking for the 14x14 pavilion with burgundy outlined dags and the white horse track device emblazoned on the red wooden standard out front.
