Monthly Business Meeting, 02-10-2009

 

1. Called to order at 6:31 pm.
2. Persons in attendance:  9 member/5 non-member.

c.       Feastocrat – Rosamond  (Rosamond’s household is donating the food for the feast.)

e.       There will be 2 auctions:

  i.      The Stuff auction – where we auction the stuff we’ve made (try to target your auction items to newcomers.)

                                                             ii.      A Dessert Slave Auction – you bid for the person you want to serve you dessert.

6. There will be a display table for shirefolk arts & crafts.
7. There will be a Banner painting competition with 2 classes (shire will provide fabric and paint/dyes):

8. Activities:  Fighting – Heavy & Rapier, Archery, Thrown Stuff

E.      Please bring any examples of your handiwork to Meeting so we can get pictures up on the webpage. 

F.      Stella has volunteered to become our new exchequer.

G.     We are trying to get a booth at the April 24^th Chamber of Commerce event at Anderson River Park.  Volunteers will be welcome.  This will probably be a static display.

H.     Miscellaneous: 

1. Daffyd and Morrighain have a source for Bishops Mantles.

b.      Perfect Stitch has FREE sewing classes on basic machines…those interested contact Morrighain.

I.        There is an Equestrian event in Medford, Oregon the weekend of April 17^th…contact Morrighain or look it up on line.
