Stone Soup Feast and Masqued Ball, A&S reminder, meeting date and location change
Monthly Business Meeting, 09-10-2009
- Called to order at 6:30 pm (1830).
- Persons in attendance: 7 member/ 4 non-member.
- Exchequer reports $406.33 in the shire account.
- Feast:
- The Feastocrat, Lady Dierdre, is asking the populace to look for period style pitchers for the feast
- Also, a reminder that you need to get your pledged feast food to her soonest.
- From the Autocrat: Cathal is still seeking Sheets/Hangings to create the walls for the feast.
- The September A&S will be held at the pavilion in Anderson River Park. Lady Kestral will attempt to transform us from left-footed, stumbling brutes into light footed visions of courtly grace (/dance Instructions.)
- I will be purchasing 2 dozen arrows for the Shire and will be sending off our new device submission.
- Fall Feast– October 24th, 2009 – “Stone Soup Feast” celebrating the local harvest.
- Location: Pavilion at Anderson River Park.
i. Site will open at 1:00 pm, Close at 10:00 pm, we must be out at 11:00 pm.
ii. There will be shire members on site earlier to facilitate site prep.
iii. The Meal will be served at about 5:00 pm.
- Theme: Masqued Ball. There will be a prize for the best Masque (a LOVELY decorative bottle filled with a mystery liquid, rumoured to be Chocolate Port!)
- Auction. The populace is again encouraged to craft things for the auction. (These have been doing well.)
- Tickets:
i. Pre-sale encouraged.
ii. Adults (13 +) $10
iii. Children (12-) $5
iv. Family Cap $35 (for this event family is defined as one or two adults with dependent minors)
v. Off-board tickets discussed – no price set.

- Auction Table – duh.
- The populace are encouraged to bring extra tables and chairs for the feast.
H. MEETING LOCATION AND DAY CHANGE!!!!!!!! (Wednesdays and Thursdays are rite out.)
i. 2nd TUESDAY of the Month.
ii. Little Filly’s in Palo Cedro (22047 Palo Way)
iii. 6:30 PM
iv. 4th Thursday of the month will be heavy fighter practice and Arts & Sciences.
v. The next business meeting will be TUESDAY, October 13st.
- The shire will welcome any ideas about fundraising.
