Called to order at 6:30 pm (1830).
II. Persons in attendance: 5 member/ 3 non-member.
III. Review of last months minutes.
III. Fall Feast October 24th, 2009
Menu: Chicken and cider provided by the shire, potluck by populace.
Dierdre exploring option for using the Pavilion at Anderson River Park.
Theme will be a Masqued event.
We will do another auction.
IV. Next A&S will be Shoes (panpooties/ghillies with soles.) 06-25-09.Â
V. Day in the Park, June 27th (Saturday) 10 to about 4, potluck. Bring projects.
VI. Meetings and Fighter's Practices are at the Anderson River Park at 6:30 PM,
2nd Thursday of the Month now with rapier practice held concurrently.
4th Thursday of the month will be heavy fighter practice and Arts & Sciences
VII. The August A&S will be making a Chocolate Port. Dierdre instructing.
VIII. We had some excellent ideas for feast themes, cost cutting and fundraising.
A. poison/assassins feast with an antidote available for a modest donation.
B.Seeking donations from the community using our non-profit number.
C.Investigating the possibility of participating in local craft-fairs and such.
D. Purchasing arrows at a group rate.
IX.The shire will welcome any ideas about fundraising.
